A great challenge!

You did a great job at mixing these two games, it's a bit on the hard side but that's what makes it fun. The power-ups were a nice finisher too. Keep it up!

Rather useless

I'm kind of missing the point of this whole thing, if someone wants to see the nominees they might as well go to http://www.newgrounds.com/awards2008.
html which has a clearer view of all the submissions and without the annoying sound loop.

great game... after a long fight i even beated Sirath (Loot: Sulfuras hand of Ragnaros or sumthin... :D) then i fought him again and hitted him with my fancy new weapon, he had 115 hp left and then.... "Sirath undifined" and the game froze :O forgot to save so now i goto beat him again :(

Anyway... really enjoyed this one and i hope u'll make part 2 soon :)
